WELCOME TO THE PORT WINE STORE - LATE BOTTLED VINTAGE PORTS (LBV) - LBV Ports are wines of a single vintage and are aged in wood (casks) for four to six years. Although "Traditional" LBV Ports may be unfined and unfiltered and aged in glass before releasing, most are filtered, and stabilized when bottled and are meant to be drunk when they are released without decanting. Serve LBV Port at room temperature or slightly cooler. It will hold its good taste for a few days after opening provided it is kept closed with the cork stopper.

Romariz - Late Bottled Vintage (L.B.V.) Port This delicious and full-bodied Port wine is made mainly with the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, which grow in the steep slopes of the upper Douro. It is the product of an exceptionally good year, aged during a minimum five year period, in oak casks, in our cellars in Gaia. It is filtered before being bottled to avoid the formation of sediment. It is then ready to be drunk. The Romariz Late Bottled Vintage has a fruity bouquet and a delicate softness. It goes particularly well with nuts, almonds and cheese.
